What is this series and what it is about?
Lake Amenity is a beloved passion project I've been workshopping since 2018. It's a simple story I began writing during a very hard time in my life, it was something to distract me and used to cheer me up. Originally, I had the hope in making Lake Amenity into a cartoon, but I figured the path towards that goal would be unimaginably difficult and I'd likely be forced to scrap a lot of the story anyway. I believe making the story independently is the best path for me to take at this point in my life, despite the lower production value. I don't need the story to be perfect though, I just want to be able to be happy with it at the end of the day.The story follows Cass and their friends, Aria and Axel, as they learn to grow and trust each other during various hardships. Cass is a young, shy kid who struggles to learn magic due to their disturbing visions. Aria is a determined child who's trying to find her path. Axel simply wishes to do what we wants and own as many magical creatures as he desires. Family drama, mental health, and fire-breathing dragons are the kinds of things you'll find in this story. Despite all the fantasy elements though, I consider it a humble coming of age story.

How are the episodes made?
I do almost everything by myself. I write the scripts and I draw all the art. The only thing I don't do is the voice acting, which is provided by the voice actors who have much more talent than I do in that area. I also occasionally ask my friends and family to review the scripts if I'm unsure of anything.

Each character has a Toyhouse, if you want to know a character's height, age, family relation, or their favorite color, you can check there. You can even find old concept art!
How can I support the series?
I have a Patreon and a Ko-fi where you can send me money so I can make more episodes. But it's okay if you don't have any money to spare! Simply spreading the word about the series helps a lot!
What's the magic system in Lake Amenity?

Yes.
Do you accept criticism?
Yes, I welcome criticism from anyone. I may not always be able to take it into account when writing a new episode, but I will try to keep in mind for future episode. I also do not want people to defend me from well-meaning criticism.
I saw someone breaking one of these rules, can I harass them?
Absolutely not. You may calmly inform them that what they are doing goes against my boundaries as a creator but that's it.
